Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Evin graduated with an honours degree in 2013 in Ireland. He is currently completing his Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA and an accredited member of the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association.
He worked in the world-renowned Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, within a large multidisciplinary team including orthopaedic consultants, sports and exercise medicine physicians, strength and conditioning coaches and biomechanists. This gave him high exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal presentations and injuries. In his time there, he was involved in SSC’S world leading research programme delivering rehabilitation for ACL injury and reconstruction and athletic groin pain.
Evin is very interested in the lower limb and uses his knowledge of strength and conditioning to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to performance in the athletic population and return to function in the general population. In his last year, he was lead physiotherapist for the Foot and Ankle stream in the Sports Surgery Clinic where he developed a specialist interest in the area.
He is excited about working in Australia with Physiotec and the new challenge of applying his skills and knowledge base to the Australian population.
